Ellen Dixon is the National President of the New Zealand Union of Students’ Associations. She previously represented on the Global Student Forum Steering Committee from 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, and represents them on the GEM Report Advisory Board alongside UN officials and Member States. Ellen is the Project Lead for the SDG Students Program for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth, where she coordinates 69 university Hubs across the world and the response to the Summit for the Future 2024. Ellen is a former representative on the Education2030 High Level Steering Committee Sherpa Group. She has partnered with INQAAHE, Education International and the Varkey Foundation to name a few, having written for Harvard University, the International Association of Universities and SDSN. Ellen is a Massey Scholar and a Doctoral Scholar, holding a BA in Linguistics, a Masters of IR and Diplomacy, and pursuing a Doctorate in IR and Philosophy.
